Your family's memory, protected

We keep the most personal things a family has, so we explain every rule in plain words.

  • Links that expire. A file opens only via a short link that works for a few minutes. There are no permanent public addresses, so a link can't be leaked or passed on to outsiders.
  • Every file is checked on upload. Documents, photos, audio and video are accepted. Programs and scripts (exe, bat, js and the like) are rejected — they could harm your computer and your family's.
  • You control family access. Who can view, who can download; access can be granted temporarily and revoked in one click — it's checked every time a file is opened.
  • Secure connection — data is transferred over HTTPS only.

What files can I keep in the archive?
Document scans (PDF, JPG, PNG, TIFF), photos, audio and video recordings. Every file is checked on upload: only documents and media are accepted, while programs and scripts — exe, bat, js and the like — are rejected because they could harm your computer and other family members.
Can outsiders see my documents?
No. Files open only for members of your account, and only via short links that expire — there are no permanent public addresses, so a link can't be passed on to outsiders. Invited relatives can view project documents, but only the archive owner can download them.
What is the sync from the chat?
All communication with your genealogist and relatives happens in Relic Chat, our own messenger. Files from the conversation — scans, photos, recordings — are automatically added to “My documents” every 15 minutes, linked to the project and with no duplicates. Can you help digitize a paper family archive?
Yes. Our specialists will carefully digitize old photos, letters, documents and even film reels — the originals come back to you, and the files go straight into your account, labeled and sorted into folders. The service is ordered from the store in your account.
How do I note who is in a photo?
Every file has a description: who is in the photo and when, where it was taken, which event it relates to. A labeled document can be found by searching your account in a second — and it never gets lost.
Can I share a document with relatives?
Yes: invite your relatives to your account and they'll see the project documents; or send a link with a QR code to a specific file or folder. That's how a shared family archive comes together, with everyone adding their own.
Will documents appear on the family website and in the book?
Yes. Scans and photos from the archive are pulled into the “Documents” and “Gallery” blocks of your family website, and the genealogists' findings go into the report, the ancestry book and the tree.About family websites
Where do I get documents if nothing survived in the family?
