Genealogists and archivists

Seven specialists: they read pre-revolutionary parish registers and revision lists, correspond with archives and work in reading rooms. Every project has a lead genealogist assigned — the same person who answers you in the chat.

Project managers

They keep deadlines and stay in touch with the family: gather the initial information, track the stages, and let you know about finds and delays. You have the same manager for the whole research project.

Book designers and layout artists

They turn the report into an ancestry book: layout, photo restoration, choice of paper and cover — from standard print to handmade leather.

What is the Aggregator platform?
It's the online account of the Family Relic Genealogy Center. Here you order archival research into your family and follow every step of it, build a family tree together with your whole family, store documents, and create a family website and memory pages for loved ones. All communication with genealogists and relatives happens in our Relic Chat messenger.
How much does the account cost?
Registration and the main sections — family tree, people, documents, family website and memory pages — are free. You pay only for the genealogists' work in the archives (stage by stage, with no upfront payment for the whole research) and for services from the catalog: ancestry books, tree prints, digitization.
Do I need to know anything about my ancestors to start?
What you remember is enough: your grandparents' names, approximate years and places of birth. From there the genealogists take over — or you build out the tree yourself from family stories, while relatives add what they remember.
How does the research work and what do I get at the end?
Your manager reviews the questionnaire, draws up a search plan and breaks it into stages. Genealogists send requests to archives and go on expeditions, while you see every find in your account. At the end you get a report with document copies, an ancestry book, a tree for your wall and a family website.More about the “Start a project” section
Can I import a tree from another program?
Yes. The builder understands GEDCOM, the common language of genealogy software: Drevo Zhizni, MyHeritage, Gramps, Family Tree Builder and others export to it. Import up to 3,000 people, and export back in one click.
What is a memory page?
A dedicated page about a loved one: portrait, life story, key dates, photos, voice. It has its own address and QR code, which can be printed on a memorial plaque, in the ancestry book or on a card. It's created for free from a person's card in the tree.See an example
How do I communicate with the genealogist during the research?
In Relic Chat, our own secure messenger. Every project has its own chat with the manager and genealogists, and you can set up a group chat for the family. Files from the chats go to My documents automatically.What Relic Chat can do
Can I make a family website for free?

Where do I keep scans, photos and recordings of relatives?
In the My documents section: upload from any device, sort into folders, caption who is in the photo and when, and view right in your browser. Genealogists' finds and files from the chat are added there automatically.About the family archive
Can strangers see my tree?
No. The tree, documents and questionnaire are visible only to you and the people you invite. You can open a memory page or family website to relatives — then they're available via a direct link or QR code that you share. Such pages aren't indexed by search engines and can't be stumbled upon by accident.
